About Walmart Early Morning Stocking

Walmart early morning stockers arrive before sunrise to tackle the final push of freight that needs to reach shelves before the morning customer rush begins. Working a shift that typically runs from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM, these associates process overnight truck deliveries, fill empty shelf positions, complete section work, and transition the store from overnight recovery mode to a fully shoppable daytime environment. The early morning schedule appeals to individuals who prefer starting and ending their workday while most people are still waking up.

Position Overview

Walmart is hiring Early Morning Stocking Associates for the 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM shift at Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations. You will process remaining overnight freight, stock shelves to planogram standards, complete section work and price changes, and ensure your assigned departments are fully customer-ready before peak morning shopping hours begin.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive before dawn to begin processing remaining freight from overnight truck deliveries in your assigned department zones.
• Stock shelves to planogram specifications ensuring correct product placement, proper facing counts, and price label accuracy.
• Complete section work scanning home locations to identify and resolve outs, incorrect mods, and inventory discrepancies.
• Process daily price changes and clearance markdowns applying updated labels and relocating marked-down merchandise.
• Transition the store from overnight stocking mode to a clean, organized, customer-ready shopping environment by late morning.

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be 16+ years of age with reliable pre-dawn transportation. No prior stocking experience required. Must lift up to 50 lbs and sustain physical stocking pace throughout the morning shift.
